Vancouver's T-Ray Science links up with BC agency for skin-cancer testing device
Profits could rise sharply stemming from agreement

Vancouver-based medical device company T-Ray Science Inc. has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with the BC Cancer Agency for patent rights to a non-invasive skin cancer detection device it says will not only help the agency’s efforts in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, but sharply increase the company’s bottom line.

“This accelerates our revenue growth significantly,” Tom Walker, T-Ray’s chief business development officer, said in an interview Monday of the device called SkinSpect. “This will be our dominant focus and it accelerates our time to market.”
