Pharmaceutical Applications

T-Rays are ideally suited to act as a monitor to provide additional insight into changes to protein structure and identification of unknown samples. The company’s initial product application for this market segment will look at non-destructive and non-invasive characterization of solid forms of pharmaceuticals.  This would include such applications as:

    • Polymorph Recognition
    • Ingredient Quantification
    • Drug Counterfeiting
    • Non-destructive Tablet Coating Analysis
    • In-line Probing and Quality Assurance
    • Drug Stability Test after Manufacture

These practical applications would enable pharmacies to have much better control over quality control, statistical process control, and quality assurance, from the manufacturing process through to sample storage conditions. The Company has recruited a key advisor from the Pharmaceutical Industry who specializes in Pharmacokinetics, and will serve to advise the Chief Technology Officer in planning the product realization pathway to commercialization. Once a credible foothold in this industry has been established, the Company will look to partner with a large Biopharma company in order to license its technology and rapidly expand product applications in the Monitoring and Spectroscopic area of the Pharmaceutical Industry.
